On September 1 , the opening ceremony of the Overseas Calligraphy Institute of China National Academy of Painting (CNAP) was held in the hall.
Yang Xiaoyang , president of CNAP , Lu Yusun , executive vice president of CNAP , Zhang Bing , deputy secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of Inspection Commission , Ji Lianbin , vice president of CNAP , Shen Wansheng , consultant of China Calligraphers Association (CCA) and CNAP , Zeng Laide , executive dean of Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Institute and director of Overseas Calligraphy Research Institute , He Jialin , the director of Creative Research Department , Qiao Yinan , director of Central Office , Hu Qiuping , deputy dean of Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Institute , Zeng Xiang , secretary-general of Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Institute and director of Seal research institute , Zhang Gongzhe and Wang Houxiang are directors of CCA and researchers of CNAP , Cai Dali , Shao Yan , Wei Jie , Li Qiang , Li Ming are researchers of CNAP , Dong Lei , deputy director of the Central Office , Wei Guangjun , deputy director of Seal Research Institute , Zou Tao , Tu Xinshi and Ye Xin both the deputy director of the Overseas Calligraphy Institute attended the unveiling ceremony.
Zeng Laide , Yang Xiaoyang , Shen Wansheng and Tu Xinshi delivered speeches at the ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Hu Qiuping. Yang Xiaoyang , Lu Wei , Zhang Bing , Ji Lianbin , Zeng Laide and Shen Wansheng jointly unveiled the Overseas Chinese Calligraphy Research Institute. At the ceremony , Yang Xiaoyang read out the appointment decision: Appointed Zeng Laide as the director of the Overseas Calligraphy Institute(concurrent), and appointed Zou Tao, Tu Xinshi, and Ye Xin as deputy directors. And issued a certificate of appointment for them.
The Overseas Calligraphy Institute is initiated by Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Institute and CNAP . It is a collection of overseas calligraphy materials such as edited and published ,and the relationship between Chinese and overseas calligraphy, and the spread of Chinese calligraphy culture. The professional research institution for academic subjects and activities is also the highest level overseas calligraphy research institution in China. Through the topics and a series of academic activities, it will have a wide international academic influence.
