刘曦林 Liu Xilin

刘曦林，1942年生，山东临邑人。现为中国美术馆研究员，中国国家画院美术研究院副院长，中国美术家协会理论委员会副主任，《美术》杂志编委，中央美术研究院特邀研究员，山东省艺术院特邀教授。系中国书法家协会会员，中国和平统一促进会理事。曾任新疆喀什日报社美术编辑。

1963年毕业于山东艺术专科学校，1981年毕业于中央美术学院硕士研究生班。已出版专著有《艺海春秋——蒋兆和传》、《20世纪中国著名画家踪影》（与水天中合著）、《中国画与现代中国》、《郭味蕖传》、《中国名画家全集·蒋兆和》、《蒋兆和论》等。主编《中国美术年鉴1949——1989》、《中国现代美术全集·中国画·花鸟》、《20世纪中国美术——中国美术馆藏品选》、《诗画论》、《李苦禅纪念文集》、《周思聪纪念文集》、《蒋兆和论艺术》、《徐悲鸿》、《傅抱石》、《于非闇》等等。担任《首届北京国际美术双年展作品集》执行主编、《百年美术·馆藏精品》学术主持。

Liu Xilin was born in Linyi, Shandong Province in 1942. He is a researcher at National Art Museum of China, member of its Art Committee, vice director of the Fine Arts Institute of China National Academy of Painting, and president of Jiang Zhaohe Art Research Society. He is also the deputy director of the Theoretical Committee of China Artists Association, member of the Theoretical Committee of Academy of Calligraphy and Painting at Central Research Institute of Culture and History, executive director of Creative Society at Chinese Painting Institute, and editorial board member of the journal Fine Arts and Beijing Municipal Institute of Culture and History. He used to be the director of the Research Department of National Art Museum of China. Liu studied at Shandong Arts College and enrolled in a graduate program at Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1978, majoring in Arts History.
