林　木 Lin Mu

林木，1949年生，重庆人。现任中国国家画院美术研究院研究员，四川大学教授，四川师范大学美术学院院长。系中国美术家协会理论委员会委员、中国画学会学术委员、美国纽约“中国现代美术学会”学术委员。曾任第十一届全国美展评委，建国六十年中国美术理论大奖“中国美术奖·理论评论奖”终审评委。

出版有《论文人画》、《明清文人画新潮》、《二十世纪中国画研究》、《笔墨论》、《中国古代画论发展史实》、《阅读赵春翔》、《傅抱石评传》、《刘国松的中国现代画之路》、《ArtandArtistsofChineseModernPainting：1890－1949中国现代绘画艺术：1890－1949》等十余部著作。

Lin Mu was born in Chongqing in 1949. He is a professor at Sichuan University, researcher at the Fine Arts Institute of China National Academy of Painting, member of the Theoretical Committee of China Artists Association, member of Academic Committee of Chinese Painting Society, and academic member of Modern Chinese Art Association in New York. He is also a former dean of School of Fine Arts at Sichuan Normal University and judge of the 11th National Art Exhibition.
