On January 6, a regular academic meeting of the Creative Research Department of China National Academy of Painting (CNAP) was held in the painting room on the second floor of the CNAP building.


On January 7 ,Yang Xiaoyang, Tian Liming and Zhang Jiangzhou went to Fangshan to visit Zhu Naizheng. Zhu Naizheng would serve as a member of the CNAP Board.


On January 9, Kong Zi joined the "Sending Joy to Grassroots” campaign to Chuxiong, Yunnan with the artists from the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC) and the Red Cross Society of China.


On January 12, “Ink Beauty—Invitational Calligraphy Exhibition to Celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Founding of New China” was unveiled at Zhejiang Art Museum. The event was sponsored by CNAP, the Cultural Market Department of the Ministry of Culture, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Xiling Seal Art Society, and organized by the Cultural Market Development Center of the Ministry of Culture and Xiling Seal Art Culture and Arts Development Co., Ltd.


On January 15, “Flute in Ink Ocean—Exhibition of Works by Teachers and Students of Zhang Jiangzhou Studio of CNAP,” sponsored by Gansu Artists Association and other organizations, was launched at Lanzhou Art Museum.


On January 17, the CNAP, Tianjin Jixian government and Greenland Group formally signed a tripartite cooperation agreement for a CNAP creation base in Panlong Valley Cultural City.


On January 21, “Loving Paintings—Exhibition of Works by Chen Fengxin, Jia Guangjian and Wang Fumin of CNAP” was launched in Shenzhen Peng Bao Xuan Gallery, with more than 50 works on display.


On January 21, Yang Xiaoyang and Wang Heng’an from the United States signed a letter of intent at CNAP, marking the official start of the CNAP’s Chinese fine arts overseas promotion project.


On January 26, the ceremony of the CNAP’s Art Work Donations to Beijing Warm Foundation was held in the painting room on the second floor of the CNAP.


On January 26, CNAP held a Chinese New Year Gala chaired by Xie Yongquan. Yang Xiaoyang, Long Rui and Shen Xicheng respectively delivered speeches. Li Hongfeng from the Ministry of Culture attended the event and delivered a speech.


On January 27, "Loving Hainan—Qiu Jimu Exhibition” was held at Hainan Museum. The event was co-sponsored by CNAP, the Publicity Department of Hainan Provincial Party Committee and Hainan Federation of Literary and Art Circles.


On January 28, Xie Zhigao followed the “Sending Joy to Grassroots” team of CFLAC and CAA to Regiment 370 of the Guangzhou Military Region where they drew sketches and made calligraphy works for the soldiers.


On January 28, the founding of the Institute of Calligraphy Creation of CNAP was held at the academy. This was also the launching ceremony of "Shen Peng Calligraphy Art Foundation."


On January 28, the inauguration of the statues of Huang Binhong and Li Keran and the inauguration of the ancient archway and opera stage were held at CNAP.


On January 28, Yang Xiaoyang, Xie Yongquan and Zhang Jiangzhou respectively visited Huang Yongyu, Huang Miaozi and Xu Linlu with New Year greetings.


On February 6, the CNAP Art Museum won the award of “Outstanding Institution” of APCI Achievement Exhibition 2009. The APCI Achievement Promoting Committee and the Organizing Committee of the exhibition conferred award certificate to CNAP.


On February 8, the Ministry of Culture organized a new year activity of sending couplets and new year paintings to local people. Fan Yang, Zeng Laide, Li Xiaojun, Ma Xiao, Weng Fangyou and other artists wrote couplets for the local people.


On February 10, a CNAP staff meeting was held at the conference room on the second floor of the academy. Wang Wenzhang, Gao Shuxun and Zhang Shijun attended the meeting. On behalf of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Gao Shuxun announced the following appointments: Lu Yushun is appointed executive vice president of CNAP (level of Director-General of Bureau), and Zhang Xiaoling and Zhang Jiangzhou as vice presidents of CNAP.


On February 14, Beijing Evening News invited Yang Xiaoyang to write a New Year couplet for the readers of the newspaper.


On February 24, the preparatory meeting of the ninth “China Art Festival—National Exhibition of Excellent Artworks” was held at CNAP, attended by Dong Wei, Zhu Di, An Yuanyuan, Liu Dongyan, Yang Xiaoyang, Lu Yushun, Zhang Xiaoling and Zhang Jiangzhou.


On February 24, Yang Xiaoyang wrote the eulogy “Crying without Tears to Mourn Zhang Ding” for Zhang’s death on February 21, 2010.


On February 28, the CPC Central Committee held a Lantern Festival Gala at the Great Hall of the People. Long Rui, Yang Xiaoyang and Lu Yushun were invited.


On March 3, Yang Xiaoyang and his delegation went to the Panlong Valley Scenic Area in Tianjin for field inspection for the location selection of the Panlong Valley Art Creation Base of CNAP. After investigation, the land use of the base construction was basically determined.


On March 5, Han Yongjin led a delegation to visit CNAP.


On March 7, the ceremony for the establishment of the Association of Famous Shaanxi Painters and Calligraphers in Beijing was held at CNAP. Zhao Leji and Yuan Chunqing sent their congratulations. The relevant leaders of Shaanxi Province, and Yang Xiaoyang, Wang Xijing, Lei Zhenmin, Liu Wenxi and Wu Sanda attended the ceremony which was presided over by Hu Die.


On March 11, CNAP held a 2009 mid-management work report meeting. Xie Yongquan conveyed the decision made at the CNAP President’s Office Meeting on March 9, and the appointment of some leaders - appointing Wu Yina as Director of President’s Office (Division Director Level) and Chen Fengxin as Executive Curator of Art Museum of CNAP (Division Director Level). At the same time, the staff was mobilized for the HR system reform.


On March 16, "Zhang Ding Academic Seminar" was held in honor of Zhang Ding in the CNAP. Yang Xiaoyang, Wu Changjiang, Long Rui, Shao Dazhen, Yuan Yunfu, Shui Tianzhong, Xue Yongnian, Li Baolin, Lu Yushun, Liang Jiang, Shang Hui, Xie Yongquan, Zhang Xiaoling, Zhang Jiangzhou, Zhao Wei, Li Yi, Zhao Lizhong, Li Zhao and Zhang Langlang were invited to the event and delivered speeches.


On March 17, the 2-day Plenary Session of the Art Committee of the ninth “China Art Festival—National Exhibition of Excellent Artworks” was held at the Art Museum of CNAP, and more than 350 works were shortlisted.


On March 25-26, Yang Xiaoyang, Zhao Wei and Fan Yang visited "North Bank Art Pier" of Guangzhou Art Zone.


On March 29, Gordon Lauren from Canada visited the CNAP and carried out academic exchanges with Yang Xiaoyang to discuss possible cooperation.


On March 30, the second review meeting of the Art Committee of the ninth “China Art Festival—National Exhibition of Excellent Artworks was held at CNAP.


On March 31,the CNAP and the Guangxi Red Cross Society held “Great Kindness and Care for Southwestern China—Meeting of Donations by Calligraphy and Painting Masters for Drought Relief” in Beijing Guangxi Hotel, which indicated the launching of the “Charity—Green Home” Initiative.


On April 12, the final review of the shortlisted works of "Chinese Style in New Age—National Exhibition of Excellent Artworks” took place at Guangzhou Museum of Art. The event was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and the Organizing Committee of the ninth China Art Festival, co-sponsored by Guangzhou Municipal People's Government, and organized by CNAP and Guangzhou Bureau of Culture, Broadcasting and Television.


On April 15, a ceremony for the CNAP and the Institute of Calligraphy Creation of the CNAP to donate calligraphic works to the disaster-hit areas in Yunnan Province was held at CNAP.


On April 15, Mr. and Mrs. Li Qimao from Taiwan visited CNAP. Yang Xiaoyang, Lu Yushun and Zhang Jiangzhou accompanied them to the exhibition hall.


On April 17, the inauguration of Modern Meticulous Painting Academy and the opening ceremony of "Art of Times—Exhibition of Works by 20 Contemporary Chinese Meticulous Painting Artists" were held in the Great Hall of the People.


On April 19, in response to 7.1 magnitude earthquake in Yushu, CNAP called on all its employees to donate for the disaster-hit area, and raised a total amount of CNY 235,200.


On April 20, CCTV Channels 1, 3, 4, 7 and 9 broadcast live a major special program titled “Boundless Love for Yushu—Donating for Earthquake.” Yang Xiaoyang and Lu Yushun donated CNY 100,000 respectively, and Jia Guangjian donated CNY 50,000.


On April 23, Zhu Di, An Yuanyuan and Liu Dongyan visited CNAP.


On April 27, "Four Wonders—Exhibition of Poems, Calligraphy Works, Paintings and Seals by Qi Baishi” and “Ink Rhyme of Li Keran—Exhibition of Masterpieces about Mountains” were unveiled in the Poly Art Museum. Yang Xiaoyang attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.


On April 28, “Impression of Rockery and Water - Invitational Exhibition of Chinese Landscape Masterpieces 2010 in Prince Kung's Mansion” was launched in Prince Kung's Mansion. Yang Xiaoyang and Lu Yushun attended the opening ceremony. Works exhibited were by 21 artists including Long Rui, Lu Yushun, Wang Wenfang, Zhang Fuxing, Zhuang Xiaolei, Wu Xun, Fan Yang, Zhao Wei, Shu Jianxin, Wang Yongliang, Lin Rongsheng, Hu Yingkang and Wei Guangjun also.


On April 29, the press conference on "Chinese Style in New Age—National Exhibition of Excellent Artworks”, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and organized by CNAP, was held at the academy.


On May 7, “Chinese Art Exhibition of Shanghai World Expo” was held in Shanghai. Yang Xiaoyang and Lu Yushun were invited to the exhibition.


On May 7, in order to commemorate the 95th anniversary of Lai Shaoqi's birthday, "Pursuit and Innovation—Lai Shaoqi Art Review Exhibition,” co-sponsored by CNAP, the National Art Museum of China and CAA, was unveiled at the National Art Museum of China.


On May 9, a charity auction entitled “Ink and Brush—Love beneath Heaven” sponsored by CNAP, Yunnan Provincial Committee of Communist Youth League and Yunnan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, organized by the Institute of Calligraphy Woks of CNAP, Yunnan Youth Development Foundation and the Hand-in-Hand Working Group of Yunnan Youth Development Foundation, was held in Kunming. The Institute of Calligraphy Works of CNAP donated calligraphy works by Shen Peng and other famous artists to the disaster-stricken area in Yunnan.


On May 10, "Chinese Style in New Age—National Exhibition of Excellent Artworks” opened at Guangzhou Museum of Art. Yang Xiaoyang and Lu Yushun attended the opening ceremony. The participating artists included Liu Boshu, Li Baolin, Deng Lin, Wang Yingchun, Xie Zhigao, Long Rui, Kong Zi, Fan Yang, Liang Zhanyan, Zhao Wei, Lin Rongsheng, Yang Xiaoyang, Hu Yingkang, Ji Lianbin, Zhang Jiangzhou, Lu Yushun, Chen Peng and Yu Wenjiang.


On May 12, “Back to Hometown—Exhibition of Paintings by Cai Chao” sponsored by CAA and CNAP, and organized by Lu Yanshao Art Academy, was held at Lu Yanshao Art Academy in Jiading. Yang Xiaoyang and Lu Yushun participated in the exhibition.


On May 16, Kong Zi and more than 30 artists from all over the country visited the patriotic education bases such as Nanchang August 1st Memorial Hall and Xiaoping Pathway.


On May 19, the press conference and launching ceremony of “Jiucheng Palace National Calligraphy Competition & Invitational Exhibition of Calligraphy works by Masters” was held at the CNAP.


On May 20-30, 24 CNAP painters and 24 Zhejiang-style painters held “Jiangnan in the Spring Rain—Invitational Exhibition of Chinese Paintings by Masters” at Zhejiang Art Museum, exhibiting 98 works.


On May 25, "Meditation on Ink—Exhibition in Honor of Lu Chen and Zhou Sicong” was unveiled at the National Art Museum of China. The event was sponsored by CNAP, CAA, the National Art Museum of China, Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), Beijing Fine Art Academy, the Graduate School of Chinese National Academy of Arts, and co-sponsored by the Mountain Art Culture and Education Foundation in Taiwan.


The CNAP was awarded the title of “Role Model Organization 2009” by the Leading Group for Construction and Coordination of Civilization Progress of National Government Offices. The CNAP had won this honor for seven consecutive years.


On May 30-June 4, the Ministry of Culture held a reform and development seminar among the cadres at the department- and bureau-level. 204 cadres from all the departments, agencies and their subordinate units directly under the Ministry of Culture attended the seminar. Yang Xiaoyang, Lu Yushun, Xie Yongquan and Zhang Jiangzhou attended the meeting.


On May 31,“Rhythm of Qingxi—China's Famous Calligraphers to the ‘Village with Greatest Changes’” was held in Qingxi Village in Yiyang, Hunan. The campaign was co-sponsored by the Institute of Calligraphy Works of the CNAP, Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Yiyang Municipal People's Government.


On June 2, Xie Zhigao, Shi Guoliang and Liu Jian joined the sketching team of “China Artists Association to Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region” led by Feng Yuan and Wu Changjiang. The team arrived at Urumqi.


On June 6, the “Inauguration of Heilongjiang Art Creation Base of CNAP" was held at Yu Shun Art Museum in Harbin. More than a thousand artists and citizens attended the ceremony.


On June 10, "Silk Road—Peaceful Journey" International Art Exhibition opened at Uzbek Art Gallery in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan Academy of Arts awarded Fan Yang the title of Honorary Academician.


On June 12, the seminar on "Chinese Style in New Age—National Exhibition of Excellent Artworks” of the ninth China Art Festival was held at Yongxing Garden Hotel in Beijing. More than 80 people including Zhu Di, Fan Di’an, Wang Mingming, Yang Xiaoyang, Xu Qinsong, Yuan Yunfu, Song Yuanwen, Guang Jun, Shao Dazhen and Xue Yongnian, attended the seminar. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Xiaoling.


On June 12,"Red Tour—Exhibition of On-the-Spot Sketches in Hequ by Chinese Artists" was held at Hequ Art Academy. The event was sponsored by the Art Exchange Centre of CNAP, the Party Committee of Hequ County in Shanxi Province and the People's Government of Hequ County, and organized by Hequ Art Academy and the Hequ Sketching Base of the CNAP.


On June 18, "Exhibition of Commencement of CNAP Advanced Learning Classes 2008” was held at the Art Museum of CNAP, showcasing the art works by nearly 70 students who would graduate soon from the three landscape classes of Lu Yushun, Cheng Dali and Fan Yang studios.


On June 25, “Chinese Style—Exhibition of Paintings by Famous Chinese Artists 2010 in Russia” was held in Amur Oblast, Russia. The event was sponsored by CNAP and organized by Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education, Heihe University, the Artists Association of Amur Oblast of Russia and the Artists Association of Khabarovsk of Russia.


On June 28, Wu Guanzhong, special academician and board member of CNAP, passed away at the age of 91 in Beijing on June 25, 2010.


On June 28, CNAP held a “Wu Guanzhong Art Symposium” in honor of Mr. Wu Guanzhong.


On June 28, the wake for Hua Junwu was held at CFLAC and attended by Yang Xiaoyang.


On June 29, Lu Yushun, Zhao Wei and 16 painters from the Creative Research Department of CNAP went to Lanzhou in Gansu Province to carry out sketching activities.


On July 8, Zhao Shaohua, Dong Junxin, Yu Peng, Zheng Wen, Wang Yanjun and Chen Jianyang visited CNAP. Yang Xiaoyang, Lu Yushun, Xie Yongquan, Zhang Xiaoling, Zhang Jiangzhou and Wu Yina attended the workshop.


On July 15, a “Symposium on Work of Art Academies” sponsored by the Art Department of the Ministry of Culture was held at CNAP.


On July 17, the groundbreaking ceremony of "Panlong Valley Art Creation Base of CNAP" was held, symbolizing the beginning of the construction of the largest art creation base of CNAP in China. The project is a result of the cooperation between CNAP, the People's Government of Ji County and Greenland Group. The construction started in Jixian County, Tianjin.


On July 18, “Beautiful Chuxiong, Rhythm of Yunnan—Exhibition of Paintings by Shu Jianxin in New China” was held in the National Art Museum of China. The exhibition was sponsored by CAA, CNAP, the Publicity Department of CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee, the General Office of Yunnan Provincial People's Government, Chuxiong Prefectural Party Committee and Chuxiong Prefectural People's Government.


On July 18, "Exhibition of Paintings by Zhou Shunkai,” sponsored by CAA and CNAP, was launched at the National Art Museum of China. Yang Xiaoyang attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.


On July 22, CNAP held “The 9th China Art Festival: Chinese Style in New Age—National Exhibition of Excellent Artworks & Annual Outstanding Work Awards Ceremony of 2009.”


On August 2, Zhang Xiaoling attended the conference of art community on the main idea of Comrade Li Changchun’s speech entitled “Outstanding Literary and Art Workers Worthy of Their Times and People” organized by the CAA Conference Office.


On August 9, the Ministry of Culture and CFLAC held a “Wu Guanzhong Memorial Symposium.” Yang Xiaoyang attended the meeting and delivered a speech.


On August 11, the CNAP leaders  held an emergency meeting to convey the message from the Ministry of Culture to call on donations for the mudslide-stricken area in Zhouqu County in Gansu Province. As of 10 am on August 13, 56 staff members of CNAP had donated a total of CNY 24,950 for disaster relief.


On August 28, "Jiucheng Palace National Calligraphy Competition & Invitational Exhibition of Calligraphy Works by Masters,” organized by CNAP and the government of Linyou County in Shaanxi Province, was unveiled in Xi’an.


On August 30-September 7, Yu Wenjiang and Mei Mosheng visited Sichuan with the experts from the Ministry of Culture.


On August 31, the Conference on Establishment of CNAP "Seven Institutes” was held in Building 17 of Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. Cai Wu, Feng Yuan, Liu Dawei and Yang Xiaoyang attended the event.


On September 10, Zhan Gengxi and Kong Zi followed the artists’ delegation organized by CFLAC to visit Unit 66150 of the national earthquake emergency rescue team in Liangxiang stationed in the suburbs of Beijing for the purpose of on-the-spot sketches and art creation inspirations.


On September 11, in order to further implement the program of “Focus on Africa Culture—Guest Painters’ Visit to China for Art Creation 2010,” painters from Lesotho, Cape Verde, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia visited CNAP.


On September 11, the Education and Training Center of CNAP held the commencement of the advanced learning class of 2010 at Yongxing Garden Hotel in Beijing.


On September 14, Yang Lizhou and Wang Yingchun delivered lectures at the academic lecture hall on the 7th floor of the National Art Museum of China.


On September 26-October 7, “Perseverance—Exhibition of Art Works by Li Yansheng” was held at Shanghai Art Museum. The exhibition was sponsored by CNAP, CAA, the Painting and Calligraphy Studio of CPPCC and Shanghai Art Museum.


On September 27, Yang Xiaoyang, Zhao Wei, Yu Wenjiang and Liang Zhanyan attended “Invitational Exhibition of Chinese Paintings by Masters of Chinese Painting Academies & Exhibition of Artworks by Gansu Art Academy in 20 Years” held in Lanzhou. Yang Xiaoyang, Lu Yushun, Zhang Jiangzhou, Yu Wenjiang, Liang Zhanyan and Lin Rongsheng participated in the exhibition.


On September 27, “Exhibition of Contemporary Chinese Paintings” to celebrate the 61st anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China was held at the International Cultural Center in Pyongyang, with artworks by Li Baolin and Fan Yang on display. The exhibition was organized by the Chinese Embassy in North Korea and China International Culture Exchange Center.


On September 28, the 12th China Shanghai International Arts Festival “Chinese Freehand Style—CNAP Invitational Exhibition of Freehand Chinese Paintings 2010” was held at Shanghai Pudong Exhibition Center.

The torch bearer of the 16th Asian Games Li Yansheng returned to his hometown Zhongshan in Guangdong Province, took over the torch and finished the prescribed distance of 135 meters.


On September 30, “Exhibition of Overseas Sketches by Lu Yushun” was held at Beijing Phoenix Ridge Art Museum. The exhibition was sponsored by CNAP, the Publicity Department of Party Committee of Haidian District and Beijing Phoenix Ridge Art Museum.


On October 9, “Departure—Exhibition of Figure Paintings by Fang Zengxian" was unveiled at the National Art Museum of China. The exhibition was jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Shanghai Municipal Government, and co-organized by CNAP, the National Art Museum of China and Shanghai Art Museum.


On October 16, “Exhibition of Artworks by Qingdao Painting Academy” opened at the National Art Museum of China. Yang Xiaoyang delivered a speech. Lu Yushun and Long Rui attended the opening ceremony.

On October 16, the leaders of CNAP invited all retired comrades of the academy to celebrate the Double Ninth Festival. Li Baolin, Deng Lin, Wang Yingchun, Qiu Jimu, Zhao Lizhong, Wu Hong'en, Tao Weishu and Kong Fusheng attended the event.


On October 19, CNAP called to congratulate on the success of “Exhibition of Masterpieces for 30th Anniversary of Founding of Heilongjiang Painting Academy & 6th Exhibition of Artworks by Snow and Ice Painting School.” Yang Xiaoyang delivered a congratulatory speech. Lu Yushun and Ji Lianbin attended the opening ceremony.


On October 27, at the invitation of the Library of City Hall of Bremen, Germany, a solo exhibition of Mei Mosheng was held at the library, showcasing 40 pieces of his calligraphy works and paintings. The exhibition lasted until November 16. It was the first time that the traditional Chinese calligraphy works and paintings were exhibited in the city.


On November 7, a CNAP work conference was held in the conference room of Radisson Blu Hotel in Beijing. Nearly 100 people including Liu Dawei and Yang Xiaoyang attended the meeting. Liu Dawei and Yang Xiaoyang delivered speeches respectively on the academy’s operations in the previous period and the planning for the future.


On November 19, three guests including Yang Jiankun and Chen Xianghong visited the CNAP.

 

On November 27, “Tibetan Art in Beijing—Exhibition of Calligraphy works by Elite Class and Subject Class of Shen Peng Studio of CNAP” was held at the National Art Museum of China. The exhibition was sponsored by CNAP and organized by the Calligraphy and Seal Cutting Institute of the CNAP.


On November 27, Chen Gang and three other guests visited CNAP.


On November 29, Wang Wenzhang, Zhu Di and An Yuanyuan visited the CNAP.


On December 3, “Art Life—Art Literature Exhibition on Xu Beihong's Students,” sponsored by CNAP and funded by China Guardian Auctions Co., Ltd., was unveiled in the Cultural Palace of Nationalities in Beijing.


On December 6, “Harvest—Exhibition to Celebrate 30th Anniversary of CNAP Graduates’ Commencement in 1978,” sponsored by CAA, CAFA, CNAP and the National Art Museum of China, was held at the National Art Museum of China. Feng Yuan, Yang Xiaoyang and Liu Boshu attended the opening ceremony.


On December 12, at the invitation of the CNAP, 21 Chinese painting artists in Shaanxi brought 210 artworks to participate in “Chinese Freehand Style—Invitational Exhibition of Art Works about Shaanxi by Shaanxi Artists”. The exhibition was held at the CNAP Art Museum.


On December 17, “Invitational Exhibition of Works by Three Yangs—Yang Xiaoyang, Fan Yang and Huo Chunyang” was launched at Beijing Rong Bao Zhai. The event was hosted by Sichuan Fine Arts Publishing House, and co-sponsored by organizations including CNAP.


On December 18, “Oriental Dawn—China-ASEAN Fine Artworks Exhibition and Summit Forum 2010” was held in Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The exhibition was sponsored by CNAP, China-ASEAN Expo Secretariat, and organized by Guangxi Art Academy, Guangxi Artists Association and Beijing Yiyang International Communication.

On December 29, the inauguration of the Pingshan Branch of the Art Museum of CNAP was held in Pingshan New District, Shenzhen. Yang Xiaoyang wrote inscriptions on its board.


On December 31, Kong Zi, Xie Zhigao and Zhang Jiangzhou, led by Wu Changjiang, joined the "Sending Joy to Grassroots” team organized by CFLAC and CAA to visit veterans Wang Yunmei and Pan Xianying in Qionghai, Hainan. The artists painted portraits as gifts for the veterans.
